Hatch provided engineering and procurement services for the Kisladag Gold Project which will be the largest gold mine in
Turkey when in it reaches full production.
Kisladag is a 14-year open pit heap leach gold mine that should produce
240,000 ounces annually at full production of average 10 million tonnes of ore per year.
The ore is processed in a standard heap leach facility containing a three-stage crushing circuit, an overland conveyor to the
heap leach pad, mobile conveyors and a stacker for placing the ore and a carbon absorption facility (ADR plant) for
recovering the gold.
The mine officially commenced commercial production on July 1, 2006. In 2003, Hatch Associates
prepared the Feasibility Study for the initial development and planned expansion of the project. A cost update was
undertaken in 2004.
