Abstract
Hatch was established in Canada as a metallurgical processing company 53 years ago, and primarily
became known for designing smelting furnaces. The organisation has grown since to include 8500
employees, 1200 of which are in South Africa, with 65 offices internationally. Their footprint includes
South Africa, Australia, Brazil, US and Canada. They also do procurement through China, with
offices in Beijing and Shanghai.
