Abstract
I want to share with you today Hatch’s views of steel and raw materials from today up to
2015. That’s only ten years away. Some clients come up to us driven by quarterly reporting, wanting to know the price of steel on, say, August 23 2006 and are surprised when we decline.
We leave that to capable people like SBB We prefer to take a long-term view, and to understand the fundamental underpinnings of demand and supply. That’s what we did earlier in the year with our multi client study, A strategic examination of future steel production, raw materials and sea borne freight.
