Dr. Doble joined Hatch in 1997 through the acquisition of Beddows & Company, an internationally recognized provider of strategic and consulting services to the Iron & Steel and metals-focused industries. In 2003, he became Global Managing Director of Hatch’s Iron & Steel business and through further acquisitions and organic growth, Hatch now represents one of the world’s leading independent engineering and consulting services to the Iron & Steel industry with a presence in all major regions. Dr. Doble was elected to the Hatch Board of Directors in 2003.
In 2000, Dr. Doble was appointed Global Managing Director of Hatch Management Consulting, and in 2007 Global Managing Director of Hatch Infrastructure.
As a graduate of the University of Oxford, Dr. Doble holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Politics and International History and a Master of Philosophy in Politics as well as a Bachelor of Science in Modern Languages from the University of Aston in Birmingham.
