Greg Fauquier joined Hatch in 2002 as Managing Director, Mining & Minerals Processing after more than 15 years of executive and managerial experience in the mining and minerals industry. He was elected to the Hatch Board of Directors in 2005. Mr. Fauquier is a graduate of Queen’s University with a B.Sc. Applied Science, the Canadian Securities Institute’s Canadian Securities Course and the Richard Ivey Business School’s Executive Development Program.
Mr. Fauquier’s experience includes planning and leading continuous improvement by driving down operating costs, increasing revenue and generally developing creative initiatives resulting in higher operating performance, in-depth experience managing large-scale mining and metallurgical operations in diverse cultural environments and strength in managing and motivating employees in achieving success beyond their normal expectations.
Professional affiliations includes Director of the National Mining Association (U.S.), Director of the Mineral Information Institute (U.S.), Director of the Hospice of Peel Region (Canada), a member of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum (AIME) and a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM).
